The rescue relies 100% on public support to remain operational. We receive no government funding of any kind. Please support our events and fundraisers to help us continue to help animals in need! We are also always in need of dedicated, compassionate, reliable volunteers to work with us to plan, organize, and execute both large and small scale fundraisers and events each year. Fundraising items for sale:

We have volunteers who make and donate a variety of items to use at our fundraising events.

Two of our top sellers are Snuffle mats & cat nip toys

We are fortunate to sell our Snuffle mats at several PetValu locations in Winnipeg: Southdale, Marion St. and Transcona.

Cat nip toys are available to be mailed at a small cost or can be found at Carman Vet Clinic or the Aspen Winds store in Carman. Cat nip toys are always available at our fundraising events! And…they are cat approved!

HOMESTEAD CO-OP GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER

We have partnered again with the great folks at Co-op to offer a gift card fundraiser! Most people buy groceries or fuel, so if you buy these things through Co-op, consider purchasing gift cards through us to use! Or, buy as a gift for someone else, or for us here at the rescue to use! We keep 10% of the amount sold and have the potential to raise $1000 this year for the Kritters if we sell enough cards. Cards can be purchased in $25, $50, or $100 values and can be redeemed at any participating Co-op in Western Canada. (participating Co-ops have the Co-op shield on their building)

How It Works: *Order deadline is June 1st.*

*Email katskrittersmbfundrasising@gmail.com and let us know how many of each denomination of cards you would like to buy (cards are available in $25, $50, or $100)

*Include your full name, your location, your email address, your phone number, and your Co-op membership # (if you have one) in the email with your order. If you are donating your cards to the rescue, please make sure to note this.

*Send an E-Transfer to katskrittersmb@gmail.com (use password "rescue" or let us know the password if you use a different one), or mail a cheque (payable to Kat's Kritters Rescue) to Box 18 Homewood, MB R0G 0Y0 for the full amount of the cards you are ordering. Pre-payment is required.

*Once we have your cards available, we will contact you about getting them to you and do our best to get them to you in a timely fashion.
