Fostering Process

Update:  January 2018 – **Due to some issues we have encountered, and a lack of a foster coordinator, we are currently NOT accepting new foster families into our program.  We will continue to operate as a shelter-based rescue from our Director’s home/property.  Thank you for your interest!

Foster homes are the backbone of the rescue!  Fostering is a great way to support animals in need.  A foster home provides the all important bridge for an animal from the life of an unwanted or homeless animal to a cherished family member in a forever home!

Different animals have different needs so we do our best to match appropriate foster homes to animals in need.  Foster homes provide a safe, secure, loving environment as well as basic training for their foster animal.  The rescue provides all food, supplies, and veterinary care.

Foster homes are expected to provide regular updates and photos of their foster animal and make the animal available, as required, for veterinary appointments, adoption meet and greets, events, etc.  You can view all foster terms and conditions on the application form.

*Please note that we are currently seeking foster homes in the Carman, Winkler, Sperling, Brunkild areas!
